Halifax 36 - 30 Rovers
After storming into a 16 - 6 lead Rovers were pegged back and started the second half 18-16 down.
Despite heroic efforts in the second half they were unable to pull off the victory in this epic see saw encounter.
This then was our last game of the 2009 season.
