With bad weather causing havoc during the Warm up fixture period early in the new year - this game was slotted in just after our season gets underway and now gives home fans chance to see some of the Rovers 'young guns' in action.
Bolsted by our 2 P.N.G. Internationals alongside first team squad members Zak Hardaker, Tom Carr and Aaron Dobek Rovers tackle a well drilled Wildcats side containg Matt Blaymire Kyle Bibb and Kain Southernwood - whose father older Rovers fans will remember well.
Final Score 16 -28 on a very cold evening but a useful exercise with a healthy turnout and some good individual performances - 3 tries from strong running Lasen Marabe and a classy performance from countryman Jesse Joe Parker.
